Until the formation of the Campeonato de Liga in 1928, the Copa was Spain’s principal domestic competition. It is the longest-running competition in Spanish football.   3. Confederations Cup – The Confederations Cup recently grew in popularity when it because the prelude to the World Cup. The Confederation cup now takes place in the country hosting the World Cup before the cup takes place. This tournament will hit the next level if they change the timing to line up with the soccer clubs.
  5. Copa America – Another historical tournament, Copa America is the oldest running continental soccer competition. The tournament consists of the competitors in CONMEBOL, the South American Football Confederation, and two other countries they invite. While to the rest of the world Brazil and Argentina are the greats in South America, the country with the most Copa America wins is actually Uruguay. They currently have fifteen wins to this day.
